When DocRaptor is the better fit
If you rely on Prince-specific CSS (advanced paged media, footnotes, PDF/UA profiles), need SOC 2 reports today, or produce Excel files as well, DocRaptor is built for that.
When Sahifa is the better fit
- Your documents must be processed in Saudi Arabia.
- You want what the browser shows: modern CSS, JavaScript charts and web fonts render exactly as in Chrome.
- You produce many documents: Sahifa's plans include thousands of renders a month.
- Your documents are in Arabic, with Arabic fonts ready on the server.
Moving from DocRaptor
Send the same HTML as source to /v3/convert/pdf. Prince-only CSS such as @footnote or prince-* properties has no effect in Chromium; page size, margins, @page rules, page breaks and header or footer templates work. See the PDF reference.
Try it
Create a free Sandbox account and send the same HTML to both services. Questions: support@sahifa.dev.
